Day 1

Helsinki

Arrive at Helsinki, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2

Helsinki – Rovaniemi by overnight train (810 k. m. aprx)

After breakfast proceed for Helsinki city tour.

Helsinki Panorama Sightseeing is a popular sightseeing tour showing you the most important sights and giving you an excellent view of Helsinki's past and present.          
The tour takes in the most interesting parts of Helsinki, such as the historical centre, City Hall, The Parliament buildings, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. Transfer to train station to catch the train for Rovaniemi.

Day 3

Rovaniemi

After breakfast proceed for Rovaniemi city tour. Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland, in northern Finland. Almost totally destroyed during World War II, today it’s a modern city known for being the "official" home town of Santa Claus, and for viewing the Northern Lights. It’s home to Arktikum, a museum and science center exploring the Arctic region and the history of Finnish Lapland. The Science Centre Pilke features interactive exhibits on northern forests. Overnight stay in Rovaniemi.

Day 4

Rovaniemi – Kiruna (340 k. m.  aprx)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Kiruna. Proceed for Kiruna city tour. Kiruna is a town in the far north of Swedish Lapland. It’s known for the huge LKAB iron ore mine and its underground visitors center with an exhibit on mining. Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården, the 19th-century former home of LKAB’s first managing director, is now a museum with a courtyard photography exhibit. Kiruna Church is notable for its bell tower and resemblance to the traditional huts of the indigenous Sámi people. Overnight stay in Kiruna.

Day 5

Kiruna – Ice Hotel 365 - Kiruna

After breakfast proceed to visit Ice Hotel 365 (original Ice hotel will not form during that period). Overnight stay in Kiruna..

Day 6

Kiruna – Narvik (172 k. m. aprx)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Narvik. Narvik is in Norrland Lapland and the very last station after crossing the Arctic Circle in the northernmost part of the universe. Narvik is situated in the arctic landscape of Northern Norway; the location of Narvik is perfect. It is located on the shores of the Ofotfjorden. The municipality is part of the traditional district of Often of Northern Norway, inside the Arctic Circle.

Check in to hotel in Narvik. Overnight stay in Narvik.

 

Day 7

Narvik – Tromso by Bus (232 k. m. aprx)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Tromso by local bus. Then proceed for Tromso city tour. Visit the Arctic Cathedral and Museum of Sami People. Later you visit the Polar Museum. To the exciting story of risky Arctic trapping and courageous polar expeditions, then visit Polaria - an Arctic aquarium to see the interesting knowledge-based exhibits, a panoramic cinema and feeding of the seals. Overnight stay in Tromso.

In the evening enjoy some of magical lights famously known as Northern lights in the sky in different shades right from luminous green, often with a hint of pink along the edge, and occasionally with a deep violet center. We will start for Aurora Excursion-Nilsen Northern Lights Hunter at 5 p.m. It is a 5-6 hours Tour.

We travel to the place with highest probability of seeing the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights is our passion & we are experts on the Northern Lights & night photography. This tour includes: Thermal suits, Reflective vests, Gloves, 10 tripods, Pictures, Hot drink, Cookies, Expedition food, Camp Fire (If possible). Overnight stay in Tromso.

Day 8

Tromso – Reykjavik by flight

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Reykjavik by flight. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

DAY 9

Reykjavik

On the way back to the capital city today, our journey takes us around the “Golden Circle”, a popular route containing some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland. Highlights include the UNESCO-listed Þingvellir National Park, the hot springs at the Geyser geothermal area and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. We will also pay a short visit to a geothermal-heated greenhouse at the Friðheimar tomato farm.

Enjoy the rest of the evening as you wish after being dropped off at your hotel. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Day 10

Reykjavik - Waterfalls & Volcanoes of the South Coast – Skaftafell (326 k.m. aprx)

This morning you will be picked up by your guide. The first leg of our journey is along the south coast, with a stop at the fairy tale-like Seljalandsfoss waterfall—the only of its kind in Iceland where you can walk behind the cascade on a footpath.

Then our focus shifts to geology, first with a visit to the Þorvaldseyri farm. Overnight stay in Skaftafell.

Note: the walk behind the cascade at Seljalandsfoss is weather dependant.

 

Day 11

Skaftafell & the Glacier Lagoon

This is a day to have your camera ready! Today’s drive takes us to some of Iceland’s most photogenic attractions, starting with a visit to the beautiful Skaftafell area of Vatnajökull National Park, named for Iceland’s largest glacier, our journey continues to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, famous for its floating icebergs in shades of milky white and bright blue. On a clear day, you may even get a good view to Breiðamerkurjökull glacier behind the lake. Overnight stay in Skaftafell.

Day 12

Skaftafell - Black Sand Beaches & Mountain Views – Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik

Today we will focus our attention on the volcanic black sand beaches near the village of Vík í Mýrdal. One of the highlights here is the 120-metre-high promontory of Dyrhólaey with its spectacular rock arch, bird cliffs and amazing views. You can also get some great photos with the unique Reynisdrangar basalt columns rising out of the ocean.

Further along we will visit the magnificent 60 metre free-falling Skógafoss waterfall. Then you can visit Skógar folk museum you have some time to browse the replica turf farm and the many interesting fishing and farming artefacts on display inside. From there, the journey takes us past the beautiful Eyjafjöll mountain range towards our evening destination.

Then proceed for Visit Blue Lagoon (entry at your own), Which is a unique wonder of nature with pleasantly warm mineral-rich geothermal water in a middle of a black lava field? The water temperature is 37-40°C (98-104°F), year-round. The lagoon contains 6 million litres of water. The water is self-cleansing – it renews itself every 40 hours. 

Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Day 13

Reykjavik – Oslo by flight

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to catch the flight for Oslo, then proceed for Oslo city tour. Oslo, the capital of Norway, sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslo fjord. It’s known for its green spaces and museums. Many of these are on the Bygdøy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, with Viking ships from the 9th century. The Holmenkollbakken is a ski-jumping hill with panoramic views of the fjord. It also has a ski museum.

Day 14

Oslo – Departure

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Airport.
