Tour Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo & Transfer to Dambulla
Arrive in Colombo and transfer to Dambulla. The drive takes around 5 hours. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple on the way to hotel. Overnight in Dambulla.
Day 2: Sigiriya & Minneriya National Park
Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an UNESCO site. Take a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park to spot Elephants and other species native to Sri Lanka. Return to hotel and overnight in Dambulla.
Day 3: Dambulla – Kandy
Transfer to Kandy. The drive takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival, visit the famous Kandy Lake. Roam around the Botanical Gardens of Kandy. In the evening, watch a Traditional Kandyan Dance performance. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, also known as the England of Sri Lanka. You will take one of the most scenic and beautiful train rides in the world from Kandy to Nuna Oya. Upon arrival, visit the tea plantations of Nuwara Eliya. Visit Gregory Lake and Lover’s Leap Waterfalls. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya - Ella
Transfer to Ella, visit the Nine Arch Bridge. Upon completion transfer to Yala National Park. Upon arrival, leave for evening game drive inside Yala National Park. Overnight inside the National Park.
Day 6: Yala National Park – Mirissa
Leave for morning safari in Yala National Park. Upon completion, transfer to Mirissa Beach, a beachside town bustling with glamour. Relax by the beach and explore local beach. Overnight in Mirissa.
Day 7: Mirissa – Galle
Early morning whale watching in Mirissa. Transfer to Galle in the afternoon. The drive takes 2 hours. Explore Galle Fort an UNESCO Site. Explore the Unawatuna beach and overnight in Galle.
Day 8: Galle – Colombo
Transfer to Colombo. The drive takes 3 hours. City tour of Colombo with Gangaramaya Temple, Beira Lake, Dutch Precinct and Pettah Market. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 9: Departure from Colombo
After breakfast transfer to airport. Catch flight back home.
